The Fragile King is a story about two outsiders. Two people ill equipped to cope with the perceived normalities of their society and who seek instead to find meaning and value in each other, albeit begrudgingly. It is story about love, a kind that looks very different. It is a story about thorny people, people who hide hurt under gregarious shells; hurt people who hurt people. More than that it is a story about a boy desperately in need of saving, and the unlikely candidate who saves him, and in so doing unwittingly saves himself.
